Although we have had a very mild winter (I want my winter, dang it!), spring is around the corner and spring colors are popping up everywhere. I loved making the last paper pack, Vintage Linen, and I thought why not make a spring version? So, viola, newly released is “Spring Linen” in lovely colors of blues, pinks, and yellows (or slightly orange lol).
With the closing of Scrappy Bee, I have decided at this point to not get on with another scrap store. Being that I’m not a digiscrapper, I’m exploring other design options. But, I love making papers and I don’t see that stopping. I’m looking at maybe making my own hand drawn clip art embellishments. Oh, and a doodling class I took at Skillshare has introduced me to zen doodles. Oh my, so many design options and only so many hours in the day! If you’re not already following me on Instagram I encourage you to do so that way you can see what I’m working on or playing around with. If you do, I also encourage you to use the hashtag #lavmint so that I can what you’ve done!
I’ve been looking into what else can be done using my papers and there’s quite a bit out there. Invitations, cards, hybrid scrapping, journaling, etc. If any of you have ever used my papers for other things, please share them with me! I’d love to see what you end up doing with my kits or paper packs!
Lindsey, whom I’m a mutual follower with on Instagram, contacted me about using some of my papers for her journaling as a guest design team project. I don’t have a design team, but we are still going to do something together. Please check out her YouTube video below to maybe get more ideas on how to use digital papers. I love the way she’s put these journals together – aren’t they gorgeous?
Here is my newest paper pack, Spring Linen. I love how these turned out. I love all things with a vintage, shabby chic look to them. They are available in my Etsy Shop, at The Hungry JPEG, or my newest store, Creative Bundles. I hope you like them!
**Update – “Spring Linen” is also available in 8.5″x11″ size – previews/links below.**
**Update#2 – See how Lindsey incorporated a couple papers from “Spring Linen” here: 8×8 Spring Linen Junk Journal Album.**
As always, thanks for visiting!
