“Vintage Linen” Paper Pack

Well. This is what can happen when it’s around four in the morning and you can’t go back to sleep after your furbaby, decides she needs to go outside. After taking Lacy out, I get back in bed (hubby still sleeping soundly), and I begin thinking of a new paper pack to create. I wanted it to look like old, worn, vintage stationery. Began thinking of some brushes I’d made using some lovely florals from The Graphics Fairy, but hadn’t done much with. I was designing in my head and couldn’t go back to sleep, so I did what any of us who love to create would do – made a beeline to the computer, fired up Photoshop and got to work!

By the time it was time for us to actually wake up to get ready for work, I’d made four of the six papers I’d had floating around in my head (the rest would be solid colors). That usually doesn’t happen so fast! It seemed like the colors I wanted to use (same as my Afternoon Tea papers – I lurve those colors!), the overlays, textures, etc. just all came together bing, bang, boom!  A few hours later and they were ready for my stores!

I loved how they turned out. Wasn’t sure what I was going to call them, but I’d had them named and packaged before I realized I have a scrapkit called Vintage Linen! Oh well, maybe next time I’m stumped for a name I’ll run a contest and whoever comes up with the name I like gets the papers for free – what do you think?

These are available in my Etsy Shop and at The Hungry JPEG. I have two previews below. The regular preview and one showing the six patterned papers. I hope you like them! Please feel free to use the buttons below to share with others on your favorite social media. 😉
