Spoonflower Squad Fall Collection 2021

You may have already seen this if you follow me or any other designers who put patterns on Spoonflower. There are several hundred of us in a Facebook Group called Spoonflower Squad – all pattern designers. It was proposed that we create color-coordinating fall patterns using the same color palette back in early spring for an August 1 release date.

So, forty of us got busy creating patterns with a deadline to meet so that one of our fearless leaders could put together the collection in Spoonflower. This is aside from each of us uploading our patterns to purchase proofs and from there create our own collections. Which can take some time depending on where a designer lives to receive the proofs to be able to then list the pattern for sale.

We all began promoting the coming collection a couple of weeks ago (late July) mainly on Facebook and Instagram. Many of us were able to list our patterns for sale ahead of time, but the big release of the entire collection rolled out on August 1 as planned. The collection is from forty designers across eleven countries and totaling 1,000 designs with some late entries. It was amazing to see that many designs, all in the same color palette, but no two designs being the same (not counting some with different colorways).

Below are a few of my patterns that are available for fabric for you sewers or quilters out there. And, designs are also available on quite a few home decor items such as wallpaper, throw pillows, tablecloths, etc.

The first link goes to the Fall 21 Squad Designer Collection with all the designs from all forty designers. This was a huge undertaking and I hope you’ll check it out. 🙂

As always, thanks for visiting … Lisa
