Hey all you lovely peeps! I took some time off … yes, again lol … and realized it’s a pattern that I just became aware of. It appears when the holidays are upon us, I tend to take unintended breaks from my design business. I love drawing fall and Christmas designs and patterns but most never end up anywhere except taking up residence on my iPad! I also tend to withdraw from social media. Once the New Year begins, I resolve to be better at creating, adding freebies for you in The Garden (freebies for my email subscribers), and getting my newsletter back on track. And here it is March and have I done those things? “No” would be the correct answer here.
But, amid the design/social media withdrawal period, I noticed that I have a lovely fall paper pack called Country Gingham Digital Scrapbooking Papers that I created about six years ago that is one of my bestselling digital paper packs across all my digital shops. I decided to replicate it with spring colors but with a little less texture to them. When I was using Photoshop, I adored heavily textured papers (and still do) but I wanted to lighten them up a little. They still have the denim texture that I really do love to add to gingham-look designs.
I incorporated the Pantone Color of the Year for 2022, Very Peri, into two of the paper packs, and “Velvet Jade” for the color that Creative Market is promoting. One pack I had named for the then-upcoming Valentines Day, and had added all three to my digital shops, but neglected to let anyone know about them!
All three digital paper packs are available in my digital shops. I didn’t add them to my Etsy shop as I am slowly phasing out Etsy. Links can be found under each paper pack image below.
