I’ve discovered the beauty of junk journaling! I seem to have a penchant for loving to design things for hobbies that I don’t actually do! Why is that? Oh well, I guess if I look at it another way, designing IS my hobby, right?
So, after Lindsey contacted me about using some of my papers for an upcoming YouTube video guest design spot, (which I didn’t hesitate to take her up on!), she shared some Facebook Groups that I joined to get a look into this junk journaling hobby. I was immediately taken as I love creating vintage looking things already. These ladies create lovely vintage, shabby chic journals for personal use or to make and sell to others. They are gorgeous! Most appear to be used with physical items (fabric, paper clips, buttons, etc.), but digital paper can be used in them as well.
I immediately took the last two papers I did, “Vintage Linen” and “Spring Linen”, and created 8.5″x11″ versions of them to add to my stores. I know digiscrappers also use that size for layouts, so these will still be good for you to use in your scrapbooking. I went to work immediately on some new papers with matching tags. These took about four days for me to get the look I wanted. The tags are typical scrapbook element sizes. They are available in all my shops, links to each store below the preview.
As is the case for a lot of creatives, I’ve moved on from creating digital papers for the time being.
